The Wizard of the Kremlin

In 2026, Château Algarve featured in The Wizard of the Kremlin, starring Jude Law. The Château's architecture and atmosphere provided an authentic setting for scenes inspired by the final years of Imperial Russia, strengthening the connection to the Romanov story within its own history.

The production joins a long tradition of artists, creatives and filmmakers inspired by the beauty and character of Cap d'Antibes.

The Château backdrop was also an ideal set to portray the 1990s era, as the Côte d'Azur was witnessing the first waves of Russian nouveau-riche arrivals.
